Seatown Class waited for the school to join them so that we could all make Christingles together. Mrs Cleden showed everyone how to make them first before we all set to task.
We then lit our Christingle and thought about its meaning. We sang ‘Away in a Manger’ and listened to a prayer.
Our Christingles were ready to go up to church for our carol singing event after school.
At 6:30pm around 50 of us gathered in Nettlecombe Square to sing carols to residents before we sang at The Marquis of Lorne. The locals seemed to enjoy our renditions!
We then walked to the Three Horseshoes in Powerstock where we enjoyed another sing song before being offered hot chocolate and food…
Finally, we lit our Christingles in the church and remembered the true meaning of Christmas before visiting the Hut and enjoying more hot chocolate, mince pies and sausages!
Happy Christmas, everyone!
