We have been studying how the Creation story can be interpreted in many different ways.

Is the story literal, figurative or a poem?

Did creation happen in 6 days or not? 

How do/can Christians, scientists, humanists and cosmologists interpret the text?

We were lucky enough to receive a visit from The Bishop of Salisbury, Bishop Stephen. In our assembly, we asked him questions about creation such as:  Do you believe in evolution?

: If you believe in the Bible version of the creation story, do you also believe in the science one?

We have enjoyed exploring these ideas as well as focusing on elements of creation in our collage work. Look how well we manipulated materials to create these images. Which elements of creation have we focused on? Enjoy!
