We had a wonderful visit from the bishop of Salisbury: Bishop Stephen! He loved visiting the school and answering the questions from the children.
This included what he has for breakfast (chocolate Weetabix!) and how he became a bishop.
The children supplied a whole range of questions which delved deep into Christian belief, covering the bishops beliefs around creation as opposed to science, conflict around the world and how we can have faith in the world.
Bishop Stephen was also delighted to see our wall plaque denoting the visit from Bishop John Kirkham who opened our extension in 1999 as Bishop John had baptised, confirmed and ordained Bishop Stephen!
Such a momentous occasion and one we will remember forever.
