In their recent Art unit, Cogden pupils have been delving into the vibrant worlds of Monet and Matisse. The pupils explored the unique techniques and styles of these iconic artists, creating their own masterpieces inspired by Monet’s impressionistic brushstrokes and Matisse’s bold use of colour and shapes.

Alongside their artistic endeavours, they honed their poetry writing skills, crafting beautiful poems that reflect the emotions and stories behind their artwork. This interdisciplinary approach has allowed the pupils to express their creativity in both visual and literary forms, resulting in a truly enriching and inspiring experience.
