Seatown spent 2 days last week creating giant ‘Blue-winged Olive Flies’ for the Emerald Ant art project that will culminate in a night time lit up lantern parade in October. We were taught by Sarah and her team. We learnt so much about willow and how to use it in structures before using wet tissue paper to cover them.
-
1st we had to warm up the willow by rubbing it against our backs. 'Let's twist again!'
-
Securing the willow....

Quite a fiddly process.
