As part of our DT: Textiles unit, we were visited by local seamstress, Beth Harris.

Beth visited each class and shared her wealth of experience in the industry, ranging from her primary school days in Sewing Club, to working in amateur theatre, to university and eventually working on BBC productions and international theatre tours. She also now runs her own seamstress business too!

The pupils were fascinated to hear about her journey and to receive expert advice about their sewing projects.
