This week we have been exercising our philosophical thinking, our questionning and debating skills. We have explored what we think the Kingdom of God is and what Jesus says about the Kingdom of God through his parables. WE had a better understanding of what we mean by the Kingdom of God. We realised that Heaven can be described as the future Kingdom of God, but it can also be here on Earth.

Rev Chris explained that if God is love, then The Kingdom of God is where people show love and care and compassion towards each other. We enjoyed listening to Chris and Wendy (one of our governors) as they shared with us things that they do or have done to show just those qualities towards others. They also had some tricky questions to answer!

Finally, we gathered all our knowledge and thoughts into a final piece of journalling. We all know much more about the Kingdom of God and it relates to our lives.
