Christmas continues at Powerstock

This morning we enjoyed making Christingles together. We learnt that the idea began in Germany over 300 years ago when the bishop felt that people were forgetting the true meaning of Christmas. If you don’t know, ask one of the children!

In the afternoon, we each wrapped up a present for our loved ones. This was organised by the PSA – Thank You!

Then we enjoyed some festive carol singing around the villages and in the pubs before making it into the church to light our Christingles and enjoy a reflective moment thinking about the true meaning of Christmas time.

Happy Christmas to one and all!
