Sikhism in Seatown

In our Sikhism unit, we are studying the Guru Granth Sahib – the Sikh holy book. It is full of stories that we can learn so much from. In the story of Guru Nank, the bowl of milk and the jasmine flower (read here by 2 Year 5 pupils) we learn that there is always a little more room in the world for something good. We made our own bowls from tissue paper and created our own flowers. Then we filled the bowls and as we floated the flowers on the top, we shared our thoughts of what the flower could represent.
