The Trapeze at PGL

This activity proved to be very challenging. It involved climbing up a pole to a platform before climbing onto it and jumping off it and hitting a buoy suspended nearby. Some of us felt very worried beforehand.

If we weren’t climbing, we were learning to belay. This helped control the tension in the rope for the climbers.

And then we were ready to be brave and literally step out…..

Sometimes it proved too much and we needed the support and cheering on of our friends whilst Mrs Patten recorded the whole activity lying on the ground to get the best shots!

Every single one of us achieved so much. We were so proud of ourselves.
