Science Topic – Plants
This week in our Science Topic of Plants we have been looking at identifying the different parts of plants, how plants grow and identifying plants around us, including deciduous and evergreen trees.
PSHE Topic – My Best and changes.
This week Burton class have been learning about how we grow and change, how to keep our bodies healthy and safe and who helps us as we get older. We explored healthy routines, basic first aid, looking after babies and what to do when we feel unsure of worried.
Key stage 1 Multi-skills
Yesterday afternoon, Burton thoroughly enjoyed a Multi-skills event. They took part in a variety of different games and activities including catching, balancing and running.
RE – Hajj Pilgrimage and Values
Seatown has produced amazing pieces of writing this week on our topic of Hajj – the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca. They have produced detailed news reports, highlighting the rituals and values of this sacred journey undertaken each year.
