The Man Who Walked Between The Towers

As part of our literacy work, we have recently been studying a wonderful book by Mordicai Gerstein called The Man Who Walked Between The Towers.

 

It is based on a true story about a tightrope walker, Philippe Petit. 

Was he remarkable, reckless or responsible?

I thought the illustrations were amazing!

I think he is quite incredible but a bit unbelievable. He’s inspiring and he’s likeable.

It was a book that was about an astonishing acrobat who inspired mankind.

I thought it was an interesting mix of fiction and non-fiction.

A good book that showcases the extraordinary act really well.

I thought it was an inspirational book that had amazing artwork.

Truly fascinating.
